Let's Meat on the Avenue is selling ground kangaroo from Australia. Are you hopping away from this announcement in horror? Don't.

Kangaroo meat is very good for you. It's only got a 2 percent fat content. It's reasonably priced at $9.95 a pound, and I can vouch for the fact that it's delicious. Cook it as you would ground beef.

Winnie the Pooh fans have just got to get Tigger and Roo out of their heads...Call the butcher first to check on supplies. They're limited.

    Julia I am off to Sydney this weekend - I LOVE kangaroo burgers. I like it with Indian spices, patty it up on the barbie - SO good!

    Saturday hours for the butcher shop are 8 to 5 I am planning to have a lot of ground kangeroo in stock this week
