Duck fat
Brookville Market, on Connecticut Ave NW opposite the Uptown Cinema, sells d'Artagnan's duck fat in cartons. Dean & DeLuca has it more expensively in cans. Add defrosted duck legs from Maxims on the Rockville Pike in Rockville and you have most of what you need for duck confit.
